Vertically, measure a board of MDF and make a mark at six feet. Draw a line horizontally across the board suing a T-square and cut the line using a table saw. Keep in mind that you have to always wear safety glasses when using the power tools. Still use the same board, you can measure down the middle vertically. This measurement should give you two feet on on both sides of the line and cut it with a table saw. After that, you can do the same step to the second board of MDF. Now, you can determine the location of your hinges using measuring tape and mark the spots. Typically, the hinges should be about 12 inches from the top and the bottom. There should be at least two hinges that connect two boards together. You van use three hinges to connect the two boards to get a sturdier room divider. According to the measurement you have made, place your hinges to the first board. Place the hinges exactly to the place, then drill the holes and screws and fasten the hinges to the first board. Repeat the step to the rest hinges on the board. Place the unsecured side of the hinge on the second board with aligned and level high. Fasten the second board using screws and repeat the process for the remaining hinges. After that, do the same step to the rest boards and hinges.
